The Mission . . .

of The Danish-American Chamber of Commerce of Phoenix, AZ is to create a forum where internationally oriented business people of any nationality can

  1. be informed about subjects of importance to managers/employees in and owners of local companies
  2. create contacts and exchange ideas among participants at Chamber events.

It is the ambition of DACC-AZ to organize events/presentations of a caliber that can be found only in university classes or at seminars conducted by high level specialists.

Further, DACC-AZ will facilitate goodwill, contacts, trade, and business relations between Denmark and other countries.

Board Of Directors

Torben New Torben Riise, President . . . has a PhD in biotechnology and an MBA in business economy. Torben held executive positions in large, international biotech companies (NOVO Nordisk, Chr. Hansen’s Laboratory, and Coloplast) for more than 20 years. In 1992, he established his own consulting firm in Florida, specializing in high-tech upstart companies. He has been a Goodwill Ambassador for Denmark since 1999; he’s a published writer and a frequent speaker about futurism and the ethics of new technologies. He moved to Phoenix in Dec. 2013 and lives in Anthem.

Clef has lived in Copenhagen, London, Luxembourg, and Phoenix, where he has worked in the financial industry for the past 35 + years. In 1988, he founded Carl F. Petersen, Inc., an investment advisory firm focused on money management. He is actively involved in the local community (Rotary, Thunderbird Global Council, FBI Citizen’s Academy, Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, The Porsche Club); he’s an honorary commander at the Luke Airfare Base.

As associate professor at Aalborg University in Denmark, Baltic Management Institute, and Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, he teaches behavioral economics,trust, and international negotiations.
Keld is a prolific writer with 24 books published in 36 countries. He appears in broadcasts a highly regarded commentator on international business. He has been a contributor to Forbes Magazine since 2013. Keld is a frequent speaker at conferences around the world and has worked with numerous global businesses in a training and consulting capacity.
MJ Morten Jensen . . . graduated from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with an MSME, specializing in Product Development and Engineering Design. He since then earned an MBA degree in Technology Management and has spent nearly two decades in the fields of business development and optimization, engineering research, product development and high-tech manufacturing. In 2007, Morten founded STEEN Solutions – a Phoenix-based local Engineering Consultant and Technology Management company.
